Sleeping Bear Riverside Cabins - Cabin #1

These cabins were a perfect choice because they are right on the river. The windows in Cabin#1 had great views. And had a nice little kitchen with items to use for cooking. Bed was very comfortable and extra blankets were provided. The cabin was roomy enough. We were there when the trees and shrubs were blooming. Just beautiful! Would stay there again.

We had 3 generations of my family stay at Sleeping Bear Riverside cabin #1 for opening weekend of 2026 trout season. The cabin was perfect for myself, my son-in-law, and my grandson. We had a fabulous time even though fishing in the Platte wasn't great. The resort location is beautiful, and hosts Renee and Nevin take very good care of the cabins and the resort grounds. I had a minor problem figuring out the tv, and Renee was right there to help when I reached out. I had a very enjoyable conversation with them one evening about trout fishing and maply syrup! I'll be back!

Great launch point for Crustal Mountain. May come back to fish the river when it warms up. Positive: River view was excellent and only about 20 minutes down the road from Crystal Mountain where we spent the weekend d skiing. Beds were comfortable and theee was snacks and coffee included. Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like

Cozy stay with a kitchen

Cabin was very clean and beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was available in the cabin. The deck next to the river was great.
