Sleeping Bear Riverside Cabins - Cabin #1

Great value for our stay and would not hesitate to stay again. Positive: The location right on the river was beautiful, the small kitchen served our needs. Additionally, the outdoor grills and picnic tables made cooking outside very easy. The firepit near the river was really relaxing for the family to gather around during the evening. Negative: Nothing, really enjoyed our stay.

Positive: We loved having access to a fireplace and having the creek. Negative: The beds were not super comfortable.

Will find some place else to stay next time Positive: Michigan itself is a beautiful place. Negative: The description and photos are misleading. There is no deck off your cabin to enjoy the water. This is essentially a camping cabin. Michigan is experiencing record temperatures and there is no shade or AC for this unit.

Would Definitely Go Again Positive: The accommodations are welcoming and comfortable. I appreciate the owners provide paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, etc), toiletries (shampoo, condotioner, body wash), and linens (sheets, blankets, pillow cases). They also had welcome baskets of snacks, coffee, and hot cocoa. Everything was clean and designed for ease of use. The river, campfire, and deck were lovely and we utilized them all. Negative: It can get HOT in the cabins and the condensation makes all the tile floors very wet. Take extra fans! The noise from the street made it hard to sleep, until we played our favorite sleep storms through our blue tooth speaker.

These cabins were a perfect choice because they are right on the river. The windows in Cabin#1 had great views. And had a nice little kitchen with items to use for cooking. Bed was very comfortable and extra blankets were provided. The cabin was roomy enough. We were there when the trees and shrubs were blooming. Just beautiful! Would stay there again.
